Lisa Danielle
Lisa Danielle has been crafting luminous still-life paintings from her Sedona, AZ studio for nearly 35 years, bringing to light centuries of cultures of the Western frontier she loves. Surrounded by the historic ranches, Indian lands, and world-class museums, Lisa favors object that are otherwise inaccessible to most, visually preserving moments in time.

In earlier years, Lisa’s trips to the Charlie Russell show led to ramblings over much of Montana’s most historic venues, from Virginia City to Fort Benton, Miles City, Crow Agency and many battlefields, looking for traces of long past events. The inspiration given her was returned many times over in the art she left in collectors hands across the state. Now through Leanin’ Tree Publishing, major western art magazines, and the seven galleries representing her work throughout the West, Lisa continues to share her visions.

While her paintings have garnered museum recognition and awards, including “Best Painting” at the 2014 Desert Caballeros Western Museum’s prestigious “Cowgirl Up” show, her greatest delight is individuals making a personal connection to a piece, taking home that glowing bit of history, and adding it to their own, thus preserving the continuous tradition of storytelling, from rock art and cave paintings, to the West of the present.
