Artists Give Back 2018: Orphan Art Sale

Come join Montana artists and support the Hockaday's 50th Anniversary at our winter fundraising event, Artists Give Back 2018: Orphan Art Sale. Professional artists from the Flathead Valley and throughout Northwest Montana will have rare pieces from the artists' own archives available for purchase through a silent auction with a BUY IT NOW option. All works will be unframed, ranging in size from approximately 5" x 7" to 11" x 14".

This is a great way to start your original art collection or find a gem to add to your existing works, get to know some amazing artists, and support the Hockaday as it begins its 50th year in our community. Artists are graciously donating 100 percent of the sales to the Hockaday.

Light appetizers will be provided. Full cash bar available. Swiftcurrent will perform live music, followed by Cathi Lai and Merle Robinson. A raffle giveaway features prizes provided by Bonsai Brewing, Ciao Mambo, Craggy Range Bar & Grill, Desoto Grill, Eagle Bend Golf Course, Great Northern Brewing Company, Latitude 48, MacKenzie River Pizza Company, Northern Pines Golf Club, P.R. Grisley Co., Spotted Bear Spirits, and Whitefish Mountain Resort Aerial Adventure Park.

Purchase tickets at the door or call the Museum in advance at 406.755.5268.

Hockaday Anniversary Logo

In the fall of 1968, the nonprofit society originally knowns as the Hockaday Memorial Art Center was created by a group of forward-thinking community folk. On February 10, 1969, the Hockaday officially opened its doors in a temporary location on Main Street and then moved into the historic Carnegie Library building in the spring of that year.
