About the Exhibit

The Hockaday Museum of Art is pleased to announce an international edition of our annual A Timeless Legacy exhibition. A Timeless Legacy: Peace Park 2018 features the works of critically acclaimed artists from the United States and Canada who have created works inspired by Waterton-Glacier International Peace Parks.

This exhibition is the first of its kind, bringing together artists from two countries to showcase the wild, natural beauty of the world's first International Peace Park, established in 1932. All featured artists will display four to six works inspired by visits to both Glacier National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park. These artists share an adventurous spirit, a love of the outdoors and a passion for painting the park landscape, wildlife and cultures.
