Artist-Wilderness Connection Exhibit

September 10 - October 22, 2009
Arts & Technology Building, FVCC

Each year Flathead National Forest, Hockaday Museum of Art, Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation and Swan Ecosystem Center select three Montana artists to participate in the Artist-Wilderness-Connection program, an artist-in-residence project that connects artists and local communities with our wild lands. 2009 artists are Rob Akey of Whitefish, Bobby Tilton of Missoula, and Jim Clayborn of Kalispell. The collected works of the Artist-Wilderness program will be exhibited in the Arts & Technology Building at Flathead Valley Community College from Sept 10  - Oct 22, with a public reception and presentation by 2008 artists on Sept 23, 5-7:30pm. Proceeds from $5 admission will benefit the Artist-Wilderness Connection Project. Thank you, Glacier National Park Fund and FVCC for your generous support!
